3 Best Workout Youtube Channels
Whether all this newly acquired free time is getting to you or you just regularly prefer to workout in your own home, I got you! I have SCOURED the internet looking for the best at-home workouts.
Before we dive in, I’d like to give you some background on my fitness journey so you can determine whether or not my suggestions will really even apply to you! For starters, I have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, but don’t let that fool you: I can not coach or train anyone (including myself lol). All this means is I have a solid understanding of Exercise, what is safe, and what to look for in a workout.

For me personally, the things I needed from a workout where:
- Limited to no equipment use
- Fun
That’s it! You would think that wouldn’t be so hard to find, but you are WRONG!
Don’t fret, Aunty Kate is here to give you the list of my favorite people to follow out there so you can get right to it.
*Disclaimer: don’t let anyone make you feel worse while you’re working out. If someone you’re watching is making you feel discouraged, choose someone else to watch. Working out should be fun, not torture.
First up we have:
POPSUGAR Fitness
This channel has over 1,000 videos ranging from many different workout styles. They also have a wide variety of video lengths, so whether you’re looking for a quick ten minute workout or an hour long killer, they’ve got you covered! Let’s also not forget to mention that they have full-body workouts AND specific body part workouts, so if all you need is a new booty routine to add into the mix, look no further. I’ll finish my review off by saying they do a great job at targeting different interests which make it easy to find new types of workouts you may not have given a shot in the gym. From kickboxing, dancing, HIIT, or strength training, you really can’t go wrong with these guys.
MadFit
I have recently discovered MadFit and I AM IN LOVE! She has just over 250 videos, and each workout I’ve done of hers has been truly enjoyable (or at least I didn’t find myself wanting to turn it off every other set). She has a workout for every mood out there. Just jumped out of bed? She’s got a video for that. Want to improve flexibility? She’s got a video for that. My favorite workouts of hers are her “Song Workouts” where she does a workout to a popular song. This helps keep my mind distracted and keeps me motivated throughout.
Yoga With Adriene
This woman is PHENOMENAL! With just over 550 videos, this would be a great place to start for anyone looking to get into yoga as well as for anyone who is already practicing yoga. Some of her most popular videos include yoga for beginners, 30 days of yoga, and yoga for weight loss. She also has really beneficial videos including yoga for back pain, meditation for inner peace and anxiety, and yoga for seniors. Call up the older people in your life and get them to move their bodies with you! And while I would never judge a workout by the cuteness of the teacher’s pet, it certainly helps when her pup Benji is on screen.
I think its extremely important to note that you can not judge a workout on how much you sweat, how sore you are the next day, or how hard it feels in the moment. The key is to listen to your body and make an effort to be better every time.
Find a style of exercise that you enjoy and can turn into a regular routine. Exercise is a gift we can give our bodies and they will bless us back in ways beyond appearances! Working out works best as a lifestyle, and always consult your doctor before diving in headfirst.
